Women’s eLLes is an international association that shares the words of womenaround the world, through testimonies, articles on gender equality in the world, for a collective awareness of gender-based violence and discrimination.
Emma and I (in Burkina Faso and France) would like to talk about inclusion at the beginning of the new decade. We are two queer feminist women and lesbian. It seems to us that the inclusion of trans and lesbian women is not obvious to all feminist movements.
What is the situation in your country? Do you carry this inclusion? if so, can you tell us why and how? Do you have a reading on why feminist movements struggle to integrate the demands of lesbian, trans and queer women?
If you are an association of lesbian, trans, queer women, are you looking for inclusion in the more mainstream feminist movements? What fights seem essential to you in 2020? What themes should we put forward?
From your feedback we will write an article we will publish and include your associations, collectives and projects. In 2020 we want to create a sorority stronger than ever, without borders and with a lot of love and respect.
